PBA, opens an Online show today

The PBA is now launching its digital program “Hello to the PBA”, part of the innovations that the country’s oldest professional basketball league will bring as its indefinite suspension continues and if it can continue its decline, 45 years old.

“PBA Fun” will be published on all social media platforms in the league.

MVP six times June Mar Fajardo from San Miguel, Poy Erram from Talk ‘N Text, Beau Belga from Rain or Shine, Marc Pingris from Magnolia and Asi Taulava from NLEX will be the first guests of the online show to be broadcast in PBA Rush on Cignal TV at 8 p.m.,

PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial will also attend the new show dedicated to keeping league fans at home while enjoying a PBA event while the league is suspended.

“This online show is for our fans to be with their PBA idols again in the midst of the pandemic and quarantine. It’s a chance for them to see our league models after a long time, ”said Marcial.

The league has only played one game since it opened in March before the impact of COVID-19 spreads across the country, forcing the PBA to follow government action to immediately fight and eradicate disease deadly.

It’s been two months since the opening of the Philippines Cup, but it’s still unclear when the league will reopen. We still do not know when the health crisis will finally end.

Although it hopes to find a vaccine to end the crisis, the league does not dismiss the worst-case scenario as a conference or simply cancels season 45 due to the current coronavirus scenario.

The league was originally scheduled to open on June 1, but based on government implementation, it hopes that August will be the final decision for the league.
